Product Manager - Community
Lead our team on creating a WOW experience for our users who join our community seeking career advice. In this role, you will be responsible for instrumenting critical mechanics for our community to increase activation, retention and engagement. This is an amazing opportunity to have a direct impact on the core experience of Career Karma users. You will be expected to drive experiments to improve the ‘Setup’ and the ‘Aha’ moment of our new users that helps them form a habit around using our product. Successfully doing so will have a major impact on delighting our users and helping them form closer bonds with their peers - a highly strategic initiative and core to our mission of enabling our community to provide career advice at scale

How you will help us fulfill our mission
Own the planning and execution of new use cases to scale our community
Understand the core problems that professions have in their careers and how these questions could be addressed through product
Drive experiments to increase activation, retention and engagement of our users
Create dashboards and reports to evaluate performance of new features and incorporate that feedback to improve the next iteration of the product.
Create and articulate a compelling vision, strategy, and roadmap for our community
Work with team members and executives to support your leadership on top initiatives

Results oriented leader who thinks strategically but not afraid to be scrappy when it comes to delivering on product goals
Committed to prioritizing features and structuring the scope of experiments to prove out defined hypotheses
Expertise in using data analytics tools like Amplitude to be able to track and generate user behavior insights
Excellent communication skills and your ability to lead the delivery of projects alongside our technical team
Exceptional ability to manage and lead across highly cross-functional teams. Experience facilitating delivery of projects by engineers, data analysts, and designers
Prior success building communities and deep experience on consumer products
Great product sense and intuition
Experience leading a product management team or a few product managers
Background working with data and data analytics tools
Former founder or founding teammate
Software engineering experience
Strong business analytics skills
